This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds are handled for products facilitated through CoverLife, an online platform operated by Legacy Advisory Sdn Bhd. By using our service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and consented to this policy.

It is crucial to understand that our role is that of a licensed insurance agent, acting in a facilitative capacity between you and the insurance companies. We do not sell or underwrite insurance policies directly. The insurance policy is a legally binding contract entered into directly between you and the respective insurance company, not with Legacy Advisory Sdn Bhd.

2. No Refunds from Our Platform
As a foundational principle of our business model, our service is provided to you at no direct cost. No payments are made by you to CoverLife for the use of our comparison and advisory services. Consequently, there is no financial basis for a refund to be issued by our company. Any payments related to an insurance policy are made by you directly to the insurance provider.

3. Promo & Commission Discount
In certain promotional campaigns, we may offer a direct commission discount to you for purchasing a policy through our platform. By accepting and receiving this discount, you agree to the specific terms and conditions of that promotional offer.

Please be aware that any cancellation or refund request for a policy purchased with a commission discount can only be processed after a minimum period of six (6) months from the policy's effective date. This condition is a binding part of the promotional offer and is in place because the commission we receive is subject to a "clawback" by the insurer if the policy is cancelled within this initial period.

4. Refunds for Insurance Policies
All refunds and cancellations related to your insurance policy are the sole responsibility of the respective insurance company. The refund amount, as well as the terms and conditions for canceling a policy, are determined by the individual insurance company and are governed by the specific terms of your policy contract.

4.1. Our Role in the Process
While the responsibility for refunds lies with the insurer, we are here to assist. We will, in a coordinating and facilitative capacity, guide you on the necessary steps to take with the insurance company to process your cancellation or refund request. However, we cannot guarantee the outcome of such requests, as all final decisions are made by the insurer.

4.2. Policy on Refund and Cancellation Communications
All official communication and documentation regarding your refund or cancellation request must be initiated and handled directly between you and your insurance company. Our role is limited to providing you with guidance on that process.

4.3. Disclaimer on Refund Amounts
We have no control over the final refund amount. Any refund amount is calculated by the insurance company based on the premium paid, the duration of coverage, and the specific terms of the policy contract. We cannot be held liable for any refund amount, delays in payment, or denial of a refund by the insurer.

5. Changes to This Policy: We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time. We will post the revised policy on our website, and your continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
